- 4 LCD Proyektor
- 5 Notebook - 3 Toshiba - 1 Lenovo - 1 BenQ
- 1 Automatic LJK Scanner + Software
- 1 Internet Gateway Server
- 1 Web Server
- Seluruh komputer di SMA 5 telah terhubung jaringan komputer
- Sistem Intranet Puspanegara (Pembelajaran + Manajemen Sekolah)
- Sistem Informasi Akademik *
- Sistem Informasi Konseling *
- Sistem Informasi Kesiswaan *
- Sistem Informasi E-Learning *

* Dalam proses, hibah dari CV. Inova bersama mahasiswa dari prodi Komsi UGM 06

Fasilitas Perpustakaan :
- Otomasi Perpustaakaan dengan Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan
- 1 Komputer Sirkulasi
- 1 Komputer Katalog
- 3 Komputer Public - Untuk akses internet siswa
- 2 Unit CCTV (1 dalam proses) + TV
- 1 Unit LCD proyektor
- Ruang referensi dan multimedia (di lantai 2)
- Sofa tamu, meja carrel

Fasilitas Lab IPA :
- Penambahan 1 laboratorium (Lab Biologi) di lantai 2 (di atas Lab Kimia)
- Pembuatan rumah kaca (dalam proses persiapan)
- Penambahan 1 laboran (Fisika)

90% fasilitas di atas merupakan program kerja sekolah saat Bp. Drs. Zamroni, M.Pdi menjabat sebagai Kepala SMA 5 Yogyakarta. Gmn nggak keren tuh Pak Zam ??? Makanya waktu beliau dipindah tugas ke SMA 2 siswanya pada demo... Hidup Pak Zam !!

kbanyakan pejabat taunya cuma cara buat naik keatas, tapi ga tau cara turun yang bener..
